Discover great wines at Applegate Valley wineries. The valley stretches 50 miles from the California border to the Rogue River in Southern Oregon.

This area is a sub-appellation of the larger Rogue Valley AVA. The climate is moderate with a warm, dry growing season. Days are hot and nights are cool. Wines that are produce here include Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel.

This Applegate Valley winery has earned both biodynamic and organic certifications. They specialize in producing wines historically associated with the Rhône River wine region of France: Syrah and Grenache for red wine, and Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne for white wines. They have a reputation for producing quality wines.

Cricket Hill Wines focus on Bordeaux wines. They specialize in producing Merlot and Claret.

The emphasis at Devitt is producing very small lots of premium handcrafted wine, usually only two or three barrels of each wine. They are a boutique winery that is family owned and operated. Wines include Merlot, Chardonnay, Viognier, Rose, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.

Fiasco Winery is the second winery of neighboring Jacksonville Vineyards. The emphasis is on Italian-style wines. Enjoy a picnic alongside the creek. If you’re lucky, you might catch the owner hand-gliding outside the winery.

Two wineries with the same winemaker have merged their two vineyards. The tasting room serves wines from Fly High Vineyard and from LongSword Vineyard. Reasonably priced wines in a gorgeous setting!

Jacksonville Vineyards produces estate grown wines. They concentrate on using sustainable farming methods to produce premium wines. Bordeaux wines are aged 24-38 months in French oak barrels. Most of their wines are red.
