Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. They have a number of private rooms for different size groups. They also have a takeout deli next-door to the restaurant if you’d like to take home a meal.

Dog House Grill
Dog House Grill is the place to go for one of the very best tri-tip sandwiches in the valley. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable. This is a popular sports bar located near Fresno State University. It can get quite crowded on college game nights and week ends. There is a parking lot, but you may need to hunt for a park on the surrounding streets.
This is a sports bar with multiple screens. You can dine in the bar area and be served at your table. Most people choose to place their own order at the counter and seat themselves outdoors on the patio or inside. Either way, this is a lively place with great food. They also have locations in Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo, and Cambria.

Dust Bowl Brewing Company
Dust Bowl Brewing Company offers 20 taps, patio dining, event spaces, Beer Garden, and outdoor games. This popular destination is located just off of Highway 99 in Turlock.
Enjoy fabulous pub style food along with handcrafted beer and quality wines. Free tours of the brewery are available on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Reservations can be made online.

M & J Bistrop
If you are in the Tracy area, consider dining at M & J Bistro. This Tracy restaurant never disappoints. It’s located just a short distance from Fwy. 205. You’ll find fresh cuisine and friendly service at this Tracy restaurant.
Be sure to try the Chocolate Decadent Crepe, it’s definitely a must have. M & J Bistro is open every day but Sunday for both lunch and dinner.

Pietro’s Italian Restaurant provides delicious Italian cuisine using fresh ingredients, many grown just outside the restaurant itself. Dine indoors or outside on the patio. If the weather is nice, the patio is lovely.

Scott’s on the River
Scott’s On the River is a fantastic sea food restaurant located along the Sacramento River. Make it your place to dine overlooking the water and watching the boats drive by. There’s also seating available inside. The menu includes many items that are not seafood. My absolute favorite is the Thai Salad.
It’s just a short drive off of Interstate. The setting is beautiful and the the food is great. Dine on Tuesdays if you want to try out their Taco Tuesday specials. Scott’s also has happy hour specials on weekdays.

Towne House Restaurant at Wine & Roses
Towne House Restaurant has amazing food and the perfect romantic ambiance. Located in the heart of the Lodi Wine Country, this restaurant is one of our favorites. Listen to live piano music as you dine to candlelight and elegant surroundings. The restaurant and grounds are lovely.
Take time to stroll around the property before or after you dine. The service is excellent and the food is beautifully presented. Enjoy dinner or their special Sunday Champagne Brunch. Make reservations as this is a popular Lodi restaurant soon. Stop in and sample Lodi wines at the Lodi Wine and Visitors Center located on the grounds south of the restaurant.
