This is a wonderful Columbia Gorge winery that’s perfect for a picnic. Cathedral Ridge makes it easy. You can order a gourmet box lunch from the winery. Great views of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. Wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Rose, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Located 5 minutes from downtown Hood River.

This tasting room is located in downtown Hood River. Park your car and walk to the other tasting rooms located in this charming town. You’ll find great places to eat and stay.

Erin Glenn Winery’s tasting room is located in the historic U.S. Mint building in downtown The Dalles. It’s Wasco County’s oldest winery. They produce small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Tempranillo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, and Viognier.

This family owned Columbia Gorge winery overlooks the Columbia River. The white wines they produce are Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. For reds they produce Pinot Noir and Merlot. They also have a sweet cherry dessert wine, Cherry Haven. This dessert wine is done in a “Port-ish” style.

Franco Marchesi, owner and winemaker, is from Italy. The lovely tasting room shows his Italian influence. His Italian style wines include Pinot Grigio, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, Barbera, Primitivo, and Pinot Noir.

Nake Winery is known as the “sexiest winery”. They aim to tease and encourage the mood of fun and romance. Red wines include Penetration Cabernet and Naked Pinot Noir. This organic winery began as growers of organic pears and apples. They have since added grapes and wine making to their accomplishments. Enjoy their award winning wines. Red wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Barbera. White wines include Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. They also produce a Pear Wine. Great views! They also have a charming bed and breakfast.

Phelps Creek specializes in producing the highest quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The tasting room is actually located on the Hood River Golf Course, next to the vineyards.

The old zinfandel vines from the vineyard at this winery were planted in 1852. This Columbia Gorge winery has been producing quality wine grapes for more than a century. Enjoy live music Thursday through Saturdays. The Pines is known for their Old Vine Zinfandel. They produce many wines that sell out soon after their release. Visit the Pines Art Gallery, which is located at the tasting room.

Quenett Winery is one of the Columbia Gorge Wineries with a tasting room in downtown Hood River. Red wines produced are Cabernet, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah, and Barbera. White wines are Viognier, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Barbera.

This is one of the Columbia Gorge wineries with a tasting room in downtown. Enjoy sampling wine in this winery’s rustic tasting room. The winery produces ten handcrafted small lot wines. They serve their wines on tap. You can purchase wine in a 1 liter container that is refillable. This is about as green as you can get.

Viento’s tasting room is located on the grounds of The Gorge White House. Wines include Pinot Noir, Barbera, Tempranillo, Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, and ice wines.

This Columbia Gorge winery is located 5.5 miles south of Hood River. Wy’East is what the local Indians called Mount Hood. They focus on Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernets for their red wines. White wines include Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.
