We love to stay at Foxes Inn. We recently stayed during the month of December. The small historic town was especially charming. It was all decked out for the holidays. Each of the bed and breakfast inn’s 7 rooms was elegantly decorated.
Our room was the Fox Den. It was accented with a fox theme. Amenities included TV, VCR, CD player, bath robes,a fireplace, and a private entry. We enjoyed listening to music and watching the roaring fire from the bed. The room even had a library full of interesting books. These included travel, fiction, biographies, and even some about foxes.
Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning on silver service. As we checked in, we were given choices for breakfast. We were quite delighted with our selections. Everything was fresh and delicious.
The owners were great hosts. They were friendly and eager to ensure that we were having a fabulous time. Foxes Inn is centrally located. It’s a great place to stay while wine tasting in Amador County. It’s also easy to venture into the nearby counties of El Dorado or Calaveras as well.
