April 5-8: Pebble Beach Food & Wine
Join 100 celebrity chefs for a four-day wine and food event. Enjoy great wine and food along with stunning ocean scenery. Experience wine tasting, cooking demos, golf, and gourmet dining opportunities at this annual event in picturesque Monterey County.

April 6-8: Signature Sonoma Valley
Discover the Sonoma Valley wine region at the weekend event. Attend wine seminars. Enjoy special wine tastings, live music, and gourmet food prepared by chefs in the area. Tour vineyards. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the wines, terroir, and people of the Sonoma Valley.
April 7: Taste of Mendocino
This event showcases the wine and food of Mendocino County, but takes place at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Over 30 Mendocino wineries will be pouring their world class wines while Mendocino County artisanal food producers will be serving up delicious bites to complement the wines. You will be able to purchase wine and artisanal foods at the event. Come savor the flavors of Mendocino!
April 7: Lodi Wine & Food Festival
This is your chance to enjoy wine tasting from more than 40 Lodi wineries all in one location. Entrance includes great food, music, and a commemorative wine glass.

April 14: VinDiego Wine & Food Festival – San Diego
More than 300 wines will be available to taste at this annual event. Award winning wineries from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Lodi, Oregon, Santa Lucia Highlands, Temecula and San Diego will be pouring their wines. Top chefs will be serving food samples for you to enjoy. The ever-popular VinDiego Silent Auction takes place during the event. Jimmy & Enique will be the musical headliners this year.
April 15: 42nd Annual Columbia Wine Tasting
Calling all history buffs! 80 wineries will be pouring their wines at a number of historic sites within the Columbia State Park near Sonora. Enjoy flavorful treats prepared by students from Columbia College. Profits from this annual event will support student scholarships as well as the highly regarded Hospitality Management program. Taste wine and gourmet food in the Sierra foothills as you explore this Gold Rush Era park.
April 15: Arts in the Streets St. Helena
Lyons Park will come alive with community interactive art with Nimbus Arts, poetry from the Napa Valley Writer’s Conference, local student artwork displayed in part by the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum student showcase exhibition, culinary delights from the Napa Valley Cooking School and music from local bands across the Napa Valley. This is a fun and free event for the entire family!
April 21: Passport Day – Santa Cruz
Passport Days are held quarterly throughout the year at Santa Cruz wineries. April 2018 is a great time to go wine tasting in this scenic region. Some wineries that are not normally open to the public will open their doors to visitors for passport days.
Special events are planned at participating wineries. April 2018 is the time to discover the great wine being produced here on the Central Coast!
April 21: Spring Weekend – Santa Barbara
Taste wines from over 100 Santa Barbara wineries. Drop by the Bubble Lounge to relax and sample sparkling wines from the area. Watch live cooking demonstrations and sample organic foods. Note: Discounted tickets are available to residents of Santa Barbara County.
April 20-21: California Wine Festival – Orange County
This popular wine festival takes place on two different weekends this year. This seaside location in Dana Point is the ideal place to enjoy wine, food, music, sea and sun. Wineries will be pouring hundreds of red and white wines while top chefs will be serving gourmet appetizers. A variety of live entertainers will be performing. This is sure to be a fun day at the beach!
April 21-22 & 28-29: Wine Adventures Passport Weekends 2018 – El Dorado County

April 26: Sip, Sip, Sip. Hooray Aboard the Livermore Valley Wine Trolley
Begin at McGrail Vineyards, where you will pair their fantastic wines with a selection of incredible cheese. Next, you will hop on the Livermore Valley Wine Trolley where you will ride to 3 Steves, Steven Kent, and Wood Family Wineries. Two wineries will have cheese and wine pairings, while the other two wineries will have dessert and wine pairings.
April 26-28: Hospice du Rhone – Paso Robles
This event claims to be “the largest international Rhône wine gathering on the planet!”. Experience wine tastings, seminars, a variety of special meals, and a live auction. Purchase tickets to each event individually or buy a weekend pass!
April 28-29: North Sierra Wine Trail Bring Out the Barrels – Oroville
Enjoy wine tasting at the 16 wineries of the North Sierra Wine Trail. These wineries are located near the cities of Oroville and Dobbins. This is the perfect time to explore this undiscovered wine region.
April 27-29: Passport to Dry Creek Valley
Purchase a one or two-day passport that allows you to taste wine at more than 40 wineries in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. Experience special food and wine pairings. Options are available for special dinners, vineyard lunches, live music, and vineyard and wine tours.

April 27-29: Stags Leap District Vineyard to Vintner
Visit winery open houses to mingle with owners and winemakers. Tour the vineyards. Discover winery caves, enjoy special barrel tastings, explore the cellars and enjoy food and wine pairings not available to the public. Enjoy special lunch and dinners . Drive from winery to winery along the Silverado Trail at your own pace. Great wine and food!
April 29: Taste of Huntington Beach
This event features delicious food from 50 local restaurants and catering companies as well as wine and beer. Sit back and relax as you listen to live entertainment by The Ramsey Brothers Band and get up and enjoy dancing to the music. There’s also a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Friends of the Children’s Library. Featuring social guest, Celebrity Chef and CNN Hero, Bruno Serato.
