Pouring WineMay 11-12: El Dorado Hills Art, Beer, and Wine Festival
This annual festival is a two day event that features more than 80 artists from both near and far, displaying their fine art. There will be plenty of delicious food and live music. The event is free, but you will need to purchase tickets to sample the award-winning wine and beer.

May 16-19 Signature Sonoma Valley

Discover the Sonoma Valley wine region at the weekend event. Attend wine seminars. Enjoy special wine tastings, live music, and gourmet food prepared by chefs in the area. Tour vineyards. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the wines, terroir, and people of the Sonoma Valley.

Paso Robles Downtown Park May 16-19: Paso Robles Wine Festival
There are a wide range of wine tasting events packed into 4 days of fun. More than 70 wineries will be pouring their wines at the Grand Tasting at the Paso Robles Downtown City Park. Wineries at the Grand Tasting will be arranged by regions: Bordeaux-style, Rhône-style, Zinfandel, Burgundian-style, Italian varieties and Other Wild Wines for your tasting pleasure.

Zinfest May 17-19: Zinfest – Lodi
Taste more than 200 Lodi wines at The ZinFest Grand Tasting at Lodi Lake on Saturday, May 18. Take in a fun and educational session at the wine or BBQ schools, play lawn games, hang out in the ZinFest Music Lounge or at the Main Stage, and meet the local winemakers.

Anderson Valley Pinot Noir FestivalMay 17-19: Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival

May 25: Rotary’s Art & Wine Festival – Mariposa
Enjoy art and wine on the courthouse lawn. This historic courthouse was built in 1854. Proceeds from this annual event go to support local non-profit causes in Mariposa. Mariposa is a small town located in the rugged Sierra Nevada foothills not far from Yosemite National Park.

April 20: Passport Day – Santa Cruz
Passport Days are held quarterly throughout the year at Santa Cruz wineries. April 2019 is a great time to go wine tasting in this scenic region. Some wineries that are not normally open to the public will open their doors to visitors for passport days.
Special events are planned at participating wineries.

Santa Cruz is increasingly being recognized for producing award-winning wine. Most wineries are small, family owned businesses. Some tasting rooms are looking in the city of Santa Cruz while others are spread out in the Santa Cruz Mountains. April 27-28: North Sierra Wine Trail Bring Out the Barrels – Oroville

March 1-2: World of Pinot Noir – Santa Barbara
More than 250 producers of Pinot Noir will gather in Santa Barbara to share and discuss their wines. World class chefs will pair these wines with locally prepared dishes. Enjoy two days of two days of in-depth Tasting seminars and excursions, grand gastings, and gourmet lunches and dinners.

March 1-31: Spring Passport 2019 – Morgan Hill
Meet the talented winemakers of the Santa Clara Valley. More than 30 wineries will be pouring their wines throughout the month of March. Enjoy food and entertainment, special wine tastings, barrel samples and passport discounts.


Sonoma Grapevines March 1-3 and 8-10: Barrel Tasting – Sonoma County
Two exciting weekends of wine tasting will be happening this year. Sample wines from the barrel, talk to winemakers and explore the beautiful Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys.
Many wineries will offer “futures” on their barrel samples. This is a chance to purchase wine now, often at a discount, then come back to the winery when the wine is bottled, typically 12-18 months from now. Many wines are so limited, buying futures is your only chance to purchase them.


California Adventure March 1- April 23: Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival
A variety of free seminars, demonstrations and presentations are being planned.
The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will also feature ticketed events, such as premium dining events, wine tastings, and demonstrations by celebrity chefs.

March 17: Family Winemakers Pasadena Tasting
This one day event features award-winning small, family-owned wineries from throughout California. This is your chance to taste over 500 wines offered by over 125 wineries. 40 different varietals or blends will be available for tasting all in one location.

Enjoy three days of culinary, wine, and beer tastings. A four-course luncheon prepared by celebrity chefs kicks off the weekend. This is followed by two days of grand tastings. February 9-10: Wine & Chocolate Weekend – Madera

Wine and ChocolateThe Madera Wine Trail’s family wineries will host the 17th annual “Wine & Chocolate Weekend” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Enjoy wine tasting at participating wineries, chocolate sampling, live music, and delicious food.

February 9-10 and February 16-17: Valentine Day Weekends – Placer County

Placer County wineries invite you to come fall in love with the Placer County Wine Trail. They’re celebrating Valentine’s Day for two full weekends in a row. Enjoy special treats, sweets, special tastings, and live music. This is not a ticketed event. Individual wineries are each planning their own celebration.

It’s the perfect time to explore the wineries in Placer County! These wineries are located in the Sierra Foothills American Viticultural Area (AVA). Most are small, family owned wineries with their own vineyards. A unique experience!


February 15-18: Wine Country Weekend – Santa Ynez Valley
Toasting with White Wine

Passport Days are held quarterly throughout the year at Santa Cruz wineries. January 2019 is a great time to go wine tasting in this beautiful region. Some wineries that are not normally open to the public will open their doors to visitors for passport days.

January 19: Art & Wine With Something More – Placerville
Placerville, CaliforniaEnjoy tastes from 20 local wineries, breweries & distilleries with food from 20 of El Dorado Counties best restaurants & caterers. There’s also a raffle, live and silent auctions, music and the best part …. unique, original art pieces created by our talented artists. The artists are developmentally disabled adults and the proceeds go directly to the artists.

This event takes place in historic Placerville. A fun town to explore! There are many great wineries scattered in and around Placerville.

January 25: Cambria Art and Wine Festival
Enjoy three full days of fun in the charming coastal village of Cambria. The activities are all about art and wine. There’s an art show, silent auction, and demonstrating artists spread throughout the village. Taste delicious wines while enjoying fabulous ocean views. Take a walk along the beach and visit the unique shops.

I always enjoy staying at the Blue Whale Inn when visiting Cambria. It’s right across from Moonstone Beach!

January 26: Uncorked: LA Wine Festival
This is your opportunity to sample over 200 wines in one location. Dance to the music of a live band and a D.J. Gourmet food trucks will be on hand for an evening of fun.

Funds raised will benefit the Rose City Crystals Figure Skating Team of Pasadena. Tip: Use code WINE for $10 off the price of tickets.

January 28-29: Annual Barrel Tasting – Temecula ValleyTour and taste wine at Temecula wineries at this once a year event. Each winery will provide food paired to go with their wines. You can purchase a single day or a two-day ticket. Visit participating wineries that you select and go at your own pace. A great way to explore the Temecula Valley!
