It’s time to go wine tasting at Fresno County Wineries. Fresno is a very dry county. It has traditionally been known for growing raisins rather than wine grapes. However, wines are being produced from grapes grown along the cooler areas near the San Joaquin River.
A good time to visit this small wine region is during one of the Wine Journey Weekends that occur throughout the year. Visitors purchase a wristband that allows them to taste at all of the participating Fresno County wineries for two days. In addition to the wineries, there is also a brewery and a distillery where you can taste.
