There are many fun things happening throughout July 2018 in the California Wine Country. Special wine tastings, wine seminars, French Bastille Day celebration, fine art, wine and food pairings, dinners, a passport weekend, auctions, a dog parade, and live music.

July 10, 17, 24, 31: Concerts in the Plaza – Healdsburg
Enjoy free concerts in downtown Healdsburg on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 PM. Enjoy food from one of the food vendors or dine before or after the concert at one of the many fabulous restaurants in the area.
Healdsburg is centrally located in Sonoma County for wine tasting. Three different wine regions are nearby: the Russian River, Dry Creek Valley, and Alexander Valley. Healdsburg is the perfect wine country destination. Plan a visit to Healdsburg.
July 12: Calistoga Uncorked Tasting – San Francisco
Taste and purchase delicious wines from Calistoga. Winemakers from 30 wineries will be pouring their wines at the picturesque Golden Gate Club in the Presidio. Most of these wineries are not normally open to the public; this is your chance to try some difficult-to-find wines. Wines will be paired with light bites that complement the outstanding wines.
July 11-14: 8th Annual Mammoth Food & Wine Experience – Mammoth Lakes
More than 30 wineries will be pouring their wines for you to sample. Beer and cider will also be available. A commemorative glass is yours to take home. Enjoy a variety of culinary delights from local restaurants, live entertainment, wine seminars, and auctions. It’s Lots of fun is waiting in scenic Mammoth Lakes!
July 14-15: The French Festival – Santa Barbara
Celebrate Bastille Day and the French culture at the 30th Annual French Festival. Browse over 60 booth offering French food, wine, crafts, and unique items. Exciting shows that you won’t want to miss.
July 14-15: Arts & Wine Festival – Los Altos
This two day event is great fun for the entire family. Browse the high quality arts and crafts. Experience wine tasting and fabulous food. Enjoy free concerts from performers such as Long Train Runnin’, The Houserockers, Blue House and Anna & the MRI.
Children will want to head right to the Kidzone where they will find a large selection of rides, activities and entertainment.
July 21: Garagiste Festival – Santa Monica
Over 45 artisan wineries from all over California will be pouring their wines at the Garagiste Festival. Taste over 20 different varietals all in one place. Most of these wineries are small production wineries that do not have wine tasting rooms. It’s a chance to get up close and personal with the winemakers who will be on hand to talk about their outstanding wines.
July 21: Passport Celebration Day – Santa Cruz
Passport Days are held quarterly throughout the year at Santa Cruz wineries. July 2018 is a great time to go wine tasting in this scenic region. Some wineries that are not normally open to the public will open their doors to visitors for passport days.
Special events are planned at participating wineries. July 2018 is the time to discover the great wine being produced here in the award winning Santa Cruz area.
July 21-22 6th Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend – Anderson Valley
This is your opportunity to taste yet-to-be-released wines and purchase futures of your favorites at a special barrel tasting weekend price! Spend an exciting weekend in Mendocino County exploring the Anderson Valley and discovering new wineries. It’s sure to be two days of fun.
Participating wineries will be pouring tastes of their new wines, from Pinot Noir to Zinfandel, along with current releases. Attendees will receive a logo glass and a wristband, which is good for both days.
July 26-29: Taste Our Terroir – Livermore
Treat yourself to four delectable days of food and wine. Livermore Valley’s premier food and wine affair spans four delectable days. 20 Livermore winemakers will be partnering with San Francisco Bay Area chefs to compete for honors. Taste the pairings and cast your vote for your favorite.
Events include Port tastings, a hike in the vineyards, honey tasting, silent auctions, live entertainment, special dinners, and more. Taste Our Terroir is the perfect time to discover the wines of the Livermore Valley.
July 28-29: Taste of Camarillo Wine, Brew & Food Festival
The Taste of Camarillo Wine, Brew & Food Festival is the place to go for fun in Ventura County. The theme this year is “Surfin’ Safari, Boards and Barrels”.
Dance to the sounds of a Beach Boys tribute band. Sample wine and craft brews on the gorgeous grounds of the Camarillo Ranch. Participate in a silent auction as well as boutique shopping.
