Brewyard specializes in a new category of Lagers known as “Common” Lagers. It’s a beer that is fermented with lager yeast at higher ale-like temperatures for shorter periods of time and completely skips the lagering process. This brewing technique allows for a flavor similar to an ale but it still retains a lighter finish of a traditional Lager.

Laguintas Brewing Company got its start in Sonoma County. It was founded in Lagunitas and moved to Petaluma. It’s one of the best selling beer companies in the United States.
